Love and Infatuation

Sometimes you think that you love something or someone as if your life depended on it...but as you get close to that exotic flower, as you start living and spending time with the object of your desire, you realize that you have landed in Brobdingnag and suddenly the bloom is gone. This is called infatuation and it's the worst kind of emotion because it's one-sided, it's selfish, and it's hurtful to the other party. Love takes time, it is not an all-consuming spark of passion, it is a delicate crescendo of sentiments that penetrate and become part of the human fiber and soul. Love gives up everything, it does not possess or demands satisfaction. It provides you the wings to fly to unknown destinations and enjoy the moment with your soulmate.
